Searching for Erebia in the Alps of France

I will be away from the Library of Congress from June 6th through the 23rd mapping the distribution of the butterfly genus Erebia in the Alps of France.

Erebia are, at least for the most part, high-altitude butterflies whose distribution is not well-known. They inhabit an altitude range that goes from about 300 meters to over 2500. My major interest is those that are found at the highest altitudes and that are isolated on particular mountain peaks.
